Borrowed Eyes and the Blood Red Road

Wanted to share with you one of the best bands emerging from the thick soup of the Brooklyn music scene. With Danny Wood (Trail of Dead), and talented musicians Rafe Stepto, Andy Hadaway, and Justin James, the group brings a raw, almost uncharted West feeling to their rock and roll punch. I encourage you to check them out, they're playing at the Studio at Webster Hall on August 10th (NO COVER).

Exploding Sounds says of them:

"When you throw around terms like “folk” and “roots” rock as a point of characterization, there is a tendency to label a band as quite soft or laid back. Not so with ‘Borrowed Eyes and The Blood Red Road’. While their instrumentation may be stripped down at times, there is an undeniable raw angst that grabs hold of their music which is uber appealing. Borrowed Eyes is not your momma’s folk rock band kids!"
